Message to Venus, hailing from both San Juan, Puerto Rico and Miami, Florida has released their much-anticipated debut EP entitled The Envelope. The cover art for this EP was well thought out, incorporating a 16th century-style wax seal on a more “modern” mail parcel.
The EP begins with “The Show”—a track that serves as a soft intro into the rest of the record. Another interesting point on the record was a well-done version of “Stripped,” a song originated by Depeche Mode. “Universal You” —the second track on the EP—was the highlight of The Envelope. Their passionate guitar riffs and crisp vocals are clearly becoming the hallmark of Message to Venus.
The Envelope is an exciting debut EP and will surely garner a sizable following for Message to Venus for their full-length album Victims & Villains.
